Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Summary

  • To Supervise the  Electrical team and monitor the preparation of  Electrical designs and deliverables for basic / conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) according to specifications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Equipment Selection, Sizing, Evaluation and Integration of newly installed ones to existing facilities,
  • Determine the adequacy of Existing Power Systems such as MCC Switchgears to accommodate additional loads.
  • Developed and Produced Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Cable Routing Layouts, Protection and Metering One Line Diagrams, Control Circuit Schematic & Motor Termination Diagrams, Electrical Cable Tray & Trench Layouts
  • Embark upon Site Visit to gather more information for ongoing projects and prepare Site Visit Report based on findings obtained.
  • Involved in Vendor’s Drawings Review for Evaluation, Correction and Follow up.
  • Determine Fault Level Current and Short Circuit Analysis for Switchgears, Transformers Electric Motors.
  • Perform Assessment, Hazard Area Classification (HAC) of newly installed equipment and integrate them to existing HAC drawings.
  • Generate Material Take Off (MTO) list for ongoing projects.
  • Preparation of Technical and Commercial Bids for Bidded Tenders.
  • Compute the Load Demand for individual Consumers and Total Load Demand for all listed Consumers.
  • Generate Equipment Specification, Data Sheets for Electrical Equipment such as Transformers, Electric Motors, and Switchgears.
  • Perform Cable Sizing and Voltage Drop Calculations for newly introduced equipment
  • Used the SKM Power Tools software to stimulate the Power system to ascertain if adequate to accommodate and confirm the Voltage Drop along the cable length run from the Electrical Substation to their designated locations.

Job Requirements

  • Offshore experience is needed and shall be an added advantage
  • B.Eng.  Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • M.Sc. is an added advantage
  • NSE / COREN
  • Minimum 10 years in a similar role.

Key Competencies:

  • Must have worked as a senior  Electrical engineer for an Engineering Design company involved in Oil and Gas projects for a mininium of 7years.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD , SKM, ETAP,
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and Motivate a team
  • Capable with the following software:MS MICROSOFT, ETAP, EXCEL, SKM, DIAL LUX, PROJECT MICROSOFT
  • Possess good communication ability and Public Relations with our Clients, Contractors and working colleagues.
  • Able to work without supervision and have good follow up on assigned projects.
  • Exhibit competence in timely delivery of FEED and DED projects.
  • Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment.
  • Experience shall include design engineering in green and brownfield projects.
  • Must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, oil and gas industry design specifications and practices.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design engineering, analytical techniques and software programs
  • Working knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, NACE, and API
  • Strong IT skills (a good understanding and use of PDMS and Caesar 11).

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Summary

  • Process Improvement and flow Assurance Engineering, to Supervise the  Process team and  monitor the preparation of process designs and deliverables for basic/conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Flow Assurance Engineering
  • Prepare Process design and deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
  • Preparation of Piping & Process diagrams (P & ID).
  • Assign duties, supervise and coach Process Team,
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and contribute to overall company profitability.
  • Liaise with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and approving authorities on projects.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Participate in engineering design and safety reviews.
  • Provide input to preparation of tenders and Cost Time Resource (CTR) estimates for proposals.
  • Conduct Site visit and submit report.
  • Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications.

  • Conduct Process calculations (sizing of equipment, valves, lines and pumps, hydraulic calculation, blow down calculation, etc.)

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare Instrumentation Philosophies (SIS, PAS, FGS, metering, tagging), Control and Safeguarding narratives.
  • Prepare Instrumentation Specifications (SIS, PAS, FGS, metering, control panel, control system, cable, pressure instruments, temperature instruments, level instruments, flow instruments, shutdown and  blow down valves, general instruments)
  • Prepare instrument lists, instrument datasheets, I/O list cable schedule, Alarm and trip settings, Cause and effect matrix (including the F&G cause and effect matrix) and MTO for instruments.
  • Participate in inter-disciplines, project, client, vendor, subcontractors and third parties meetings.
  • Participate in design review such as HAZOP, SIL classification, Independent Design Review Constructibility review, P&ID review and 3D model review meetings
  • Perform Inter-discipline check and Job assignments
  • Perform Instrumentation engineering review activities on documents/drawings produced out by other Engineers, Designers and CAD Operators.
  • Prepare scope of work, man-hour and cost estimates for proposals
  • Provide professional advice to peers in Instrumentation engineering design
  • Prepare instrumentation cost time ratios (CTRs) for project Bids.
  • Perform site verification and mark-up for Projects.

  • Review of Instrumentation drawings (location drawings, interconnection drawings, cable termination drawings, cable tray/route drawings, cable block diagrams, control system block diagrams, shutdown logic diagrams, function block logic diagrams, hook-up drawings for various instruments, FAR layout drawings, junction box termination drawings, level coordination sketches,).
  • Review and tagging of P& ID
  • Prepare engineering calculation spreadsheets.
  • Takes entire responsibility for the execution of detailed design and ensuring compliance with the project specification

  • Proven Instrumentation engineering expertise and competency in Basic Design, FEED and Detailed design
  • Ability to use SPI INTOOLS to produce project database ( modules: index, specification, wiring, loop, calculation, process data, hook-ups and can create a database using the administrator module)
  • Ability to use various software packages (Adobe editing, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point)
  • Familiar with control / safety systems like HIMA, ALLEN BRADLEY, YOKOGAWA, EMERSON DELTA V, INVENSYS-Triconnex.
  • Experienced in the field instruments specification and selection
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and team skills.
  • Proficient in the selection of protocols (HART, MODBUS, PROFIBUS and Foundation FIELDBUS) for communication.
  • Ability to use INSTRUCALC for valve sizing, flow element calculations
  • Proficient in the use of Instrumentation Vendor softwares like Segment design tool 5.3.0(Emerson), Instrument toolkit (Emerson), SRVS6.2 (consolidated), ValspeQ (Masoneilan), Design Mate(FF), Aspire 2, Aspire E, PRV2SIZE(PENTAIR)
  • Familiar with relevant engineering standards Total GS, DEP, ISA, ASME , ANSI , AGA , IEC, API, PIP and other company related standards.
