About Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA)
Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) is a government agency responsible for promoting and facilitating local and international investments into licenced Free Zones in Nigeria. The scheme has facilitated tremendous patronage and steady growth through foreign direct investment inflow and revitalisation of local industries. They establish, license, regulate and operate highly efficient Free Zones by providing a highly competitive incentive scheme, excellent support facilities and service for the purpose of creating an enabling environment for export manufacturing and other commercial activities. It is a federal government agency under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment, and was established in 1992 by the approval of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Act 63, of 1992.
NEPZA Recruitment Requirements
- Applicant must have a National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. or National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; GCE – General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings is also recommended and accepted as part of the qualifications.
- National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including English Language.)
- West African School Certificate also known as WASC or WAEC is recommended and accepted too.Or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects;
- Applicants must have either B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in any discipline from a recognized institution.
