Job Responsibilities
- Ensure proper handling of all custom clearance activities
- Adopt a timely and cost effective method of clearing all consignments
- Manage relationship with government agencies to ensure timely clearance of consignment
- Monitor and enforce compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
- Negotiate and quote competitive rates promptly for freight and customs clearance jobs for Vehicles, Bulk cargos or containers, imports and exports.
- Facilitate the processing/application of form-M
- Prepare daily report and updates on consignments
- Oversee the safe and efficient receipt of cargos including proper identification and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND is required.
- Minimum of 4 years cognate experience in Freight Forwarding/Clearing roles.
